Tamara Spell
Tamara Spell is a veterinarian turned copywriter, who writes middle grade stories.
In her day job, Tamara writes content for clients in the pet and veterinary industries. Prior to writing full-time, Tamara worked as a veterinarian for 7 years. Her veterinary career took her first to Florida, then to the Middle East. Now, she resides in Arizona with her husband, two stepchildren, and a beautiful rescued Himalayan cat named Luna.
Tamara has won 5 writing contests with American Writers and Artists Institute, and her Supercats manuscript placed as a finalist in the 2020 Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest. Her writing has appeared in:

In her free time, Tamara enjoys getting lost in meditation (which she's been practicing since 2010), ballroom dancing, and curling up with a cup of tea and a good book. Her favorite stories are written by: JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Neil Gaiman, Ray Bradbury, and Paulo Coelho.
